"The One True God"

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God’s Identity

God says that He is the Holy One.

Scripture tells us who God says He is and His oneness is a foundational truth.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Jesus: God on display

God became a sinless human to live among His creation.

Jesus often quoted scripture to reveal His identity.

We still look at scripture to reveal Him today.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: And the government shall be upon his shoulder: And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus: Fully God and Fully Human

The man Christ Jesus was both fully God and fully human.

We see both of His natures (divine and human) in the scripture.

Jesus declares Himself as the one who is, was, and is to come.

We will see Him face to face at His second coming.
